Africa - Our Honeymoon

The long-awaited post of our honeymoon! (sorry folks, here it is)

We were welcomed to South Africa on a clear and sunny day

tea-time (it looks hot but it's actually 20 deg c)

Ostrich Farm

Arrival at African game lodge

Our (honeymoon) suite

off we go to look for aneemals

LION

ELEPHANT

BUFFALO
annually more people are killed by a charging buffalo than a lion

WHITE RHINO

LEOPARD
a rare find! Leopards are reclusive so people usually don't sight them to complete the Big 5 sighting.

And we did the Big 5 sighting in
a single South African trip! That is the favour and grace of God! Amen!

BABY LION... only 2 weeks old

CHEETAH

AFRICAN PENGUIN (close relative of the Australian Fairy Penguin)
yes penguins like the sun and the sand besides the sea

AFRICAN SHORT-EARED RABBIT
(a cross between a rabbit and a badger)

not forgetting a visit to Uncle Mandela's house (it's a tourist attraction)

Cape of Good Hope... the southern-most tip of the African continent
View of Cape Town atop Table Mountain

Sunset at Signal Hill

Bye Bye South Africa!! We will miss you.
